In the insurance sector, our practice group has assisted major investment funds and insurance companies in setting up Italian operations and reviewing their marketing strategies and operations to conform to Italian regulations. In this respect we have also advised EU-based insurance providers on how to market insurance and unit-linked products in Italy without necessarily creating permanent establishments.
Our legal services on insurance matters regularly involve assistance in dealing with regulatory agencies such as ISVAP, COVIP, BANK OF ITALY, CONSOB and the Antitrust and Data Protection Authorities.
