The close tie up with the world of sport represents one of most characterizing many of Tonucci's Lawyers. From a professional point of view, the Firm has developed a significant experience in Sport Law in general, and the clients taking advantage of our services are amongst the most representative subjects in national and international
sports field.
Therefore, many of the Tonucci’s Lawyers specialized in Sport Law also cover important positions in judging organs of national and international sports Federations, while the Firm itself has participated in the organization of big sport events, taking care of the legal aspects of national and international sport contests – amongst the others – of Golf, Tennis, Soccer, Formula 1, Fencing, Sailing and Gymnastics.

"Lawyer's Cup 2005" Sailboat Regatta
Lawyers and bankers from Milan, Rome, Torino, Florence, Verona and Bergamo converged on the waters of Porto Ercole aboard 10 monotypes for a weekend of sailing and intense competition during the “Lawyer’s Cup” May 7 and 8, 2005.

of collateral events including a skipper’s meeting, a brief explanation of the regatta rules, training on the water and, finally, to pacify rivalries, cocktails and a night out on the town of Porto Ercole.
Tonucci & Partners approached and sailed in the regatta exactly as the event organizers (the company Water Tribe) had hoped. Water Tribe believes that regattas are one of the best ways to unite diverse approaches on formation and communication. Water Tribe views competition as a means of maximizing the potential of each member of the team. Strategic tactical decisions, coordination, cooperation, and a clear understanding of the rules are fundamental to winning a regatta.
Tonucci & Partners’ skipper and crew met the criteria. Guided by the expertise of multiple award wining skipper Raimondo Cappa and the experience of Pier Mario Telmon, the firm won the 2005 Lawyer’s Cup.
